In this recording, my new Clinesmith polymer bar meets my fairly new Clinesmith 8 string reso that I was delivered to me in Nashville last year. It almost didn’t make it out of town. One woman who played it seemed reluctant to let it go.
I had considered going with “A Bar Is Born” but this one won. The recording is fairly rough but it’s fine if you don’t have any reputation to live up to.

This is the chart for A6. There are no chord symbols because this solo piece doesn’t totally follow the chords of the lead sheet that I used. But the lead sheet might be useful so I have tacked it on the bottom. There are some lyrics on the lead sheet if you wish to sing along. (Email me for PDFs, as usual)

Cheers, Nathan and David.
Todd, I was hoping to work some 'mountain' imagery in there somewhere but apparently you are only 200' above sea level. |

Thanks for this. Maybe some new chord voicing ideas to add.
Always excellent work Guy _________________ Stefan

Actually I am about 1800 ft elevation. Idleyld park is a large region that stretches from east of Glide, about all the way to Diamond Lake which is 50 miles away, and about 5200 ft. We are not far out of the town of Idleyld Park, but were straight up. _________________ face book page:

I guess that's an opportunity missed then, Todd. I can imagine how beautiful it is up there. |

I also bought one of his bars when I picked up my new JM aluminum lap steel from him last month.
It's has a great feel so I ordered another in case I ever misplace the one I have now.
Perfect size for an 8 string steel.
Todd sure does fine work.
