Milkman 300W Half and Half Combos are inbound!

Post by Tim Marcus »

The combo version of the new Half and Half is finally here! I will have several in stock ready to ship in August.

We really hit the mark on this one: 25 lbs

Real tube front end: preamp, eq and reverb system is all hand wired tube circuitry

Class D power: for high fidelity steel guitar

Custom Milkman 12" Neo Speaker is lightweight and not bulky, so it can easily integrate into the small cabinet.

thats the DI level control

You can use the XLR output with or without a speaker connected. Thats a studio quality tube preamp with eq and reverb coming out of that balanced output!

Hey, Tim, other than the DI output and Milkman brand NEO, what are the differences from the H & H 12" combos you had made previously?

There are a few small differences:

This one can switch from 120V to 240V for global use

I removed the "reverb tone" and replaced it with "Dwell" based on customer feedback. Dwell is the preamp signal going to the reverb tank - decreasing it shortens the reverb time.

I added a bright switch to the preamp.

Other than that, the circuit is the same. Everything has been moved into a smaller chassis and cabinet.

this has the shorter 9" 3 spring tank. Great sounding reverb tank, its a bit smoother overall than the 2 spring 17" tank.
