"Metal SlippertSlides" OMG!
A machinist friend of mine made a few solid metal tone bars (not hollow, with slight recess in butt). All are unpolished and vari a bit in smoothness. You can polish them yourself or use them to "excite" the strings as is. They are all the same dimensions at 3.5"x.75" and all have the "SitarSound Experience" edge. I thought I would offer some to my old friends here, The edge works just like on my glass bars!
Metals I have are Aluminum. weight 2 oz approx Price is $12.
Stainless Steel weight 6.5 oz approx Price is $15.
Brass weight 7 oz approx Price is $18.
Copper weight 7.5 oz approx Price is $20.
Paypal is Loni Specter. ac# lonster@earthlink.net
or send me a check or money order made out to;

These are not "NORMAL". the size of these particular bars is as stated, my good man.Roger Shackelton wrote:Hi Loni
You stated that your bars are 3.5" X .75". This equals 3-1/2 inches long X 3/4 inches in diameter.
The normal diameter of a steel guitar tone bar is 7/8" which equals .875 inches in diameter.
I'm just trying to clarify the size of the bars you offer for sale.
