Newbie questions about BIAB ?

Post by Dustin Rigsby »

I am considering dipping my toe into biab. How hard is it to drop these tracks into a daw like GarageBand ? Can you mix it down to MP3 and use it on an iPhone as backing tracks ?

You can easily do all that yo are proposing! I usually drop just certain tracks from BIAB into my DAW. You can drop only selected tracks as individual tracks or all tracks as either individual tracks or one consolidated track. Mixing down to an MP3 can be done in BIAB or in your DAW. To preserve fidelity I usually keep all tracks as wav files them do the final mix as a 320kbps mp3.
