If you go to "Create Instruments" in your song you should be able to find Hawaiian Guitar Tab under Fretted Instruments. Add that to your score. I think that will give you 10 strings of tablature in C6 tuning.
You can then edit the tab properties of that "instrument" to change the pitch of any string or add or delete strings.
The main problem with pedal steel tablature in Sibelius is that there is no support for pedals. |

Which makes it completely useless. Blame the EU. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

Developed by highly skilled English team who could have provided support for pedals.
Bought by Americans (Avid) who sacked English team to save money...
Blame..... ??? |

I haven't use the PSG tab but it is easy enough to alter the string pitches in lap steel tabs. Also it is not too difficult to alter the octave of notation. Both in 'edit instruments'. When I create a new tuning I usually keep the whole empty file as a template. There is probably a way to save it as a new instrument but I haven't been able to work it out.
Alternatively, you could just use a regular treble stave for the notation. |

It's fairly easy in the tab editor (in Create Instruments) to change the octave of the strings. The pitches are labeled according to the MIDI specification I think. So can can switch an A2 note to A3 for example so that Sibelius will play that string an octave higher. But changes done there are saved only to the current song. |
