Very nice! I would guess it was built between 1970 and 1973. It has the detailed pedals of the mid-70's models but it has the older style tuning heads.

Does anyone know if it was a ZB that Jerry Garcia used to record "Teach Your Children"? I had heard that a ZB Custom circa 1969 was his primary Pedal Steel Guitar. Or was that Rusty Young who used a similar instrument with Poco?

Jerry used a ZB primarily, and I do believe it was a ZB on Teach.. I have also seen several pics of Jerry behind an Emmons in concert..
Rusty used a ZB early on in POCO, but later on switched to a Bud for many years.. Later in life to his retirement a few years ago, he used a Carter.... bob

I got my first ZB in 1972 and it had the newer rectangular logo.
Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, NV400, NV112 . Playing for 53 years and still counting.

Joe, E's lower, and raise on the left knee, and yes, guitar comes with the case...
