My apologies, Jim. I must have transposed a name in my head somehow because I now realise that I was confusing you with Dennis Solee who, in fact, did play that tour with Duane and the Everlys.

A senior moment for me, but your experience sounds like great fun!

Duane called me for that one. I had to decline because my wife was pregnant and we didn't know hardly anybody in Nashville. Tommy Roe was also on the bill, right? And maybe The Crickets?

I don't recall the Crickets being on it, Jim - I'd have remembered that as I toured as Sonny's guitar-player once and I'd have certainly gone and said 'Hi' to him and the guys.

The Everlys and Duane, though - definitely.
