D10 Zum Steel with 8/5 Pristine Condition-Serial #D1084373

Post by Dean Black »

I bought this steel from Damir Besic in July, 2014. The guitar is absolutely beautiful! Triple raise/triple lower with splits. Comes with original case in mint condition, showing this guitar has never been played out. I hate to sell this great playing guitar, but I am thinking of buying a classic car and have only taken this guitar out of the house once. I guess that makes me an Emmons Guy! The pictures tell the story, the person who had it before me never took it out of his house. If you are looking for a great playing and sounding Zum, this is the guitar for you. $4000 OBO. Call me with any questions. Dean Black 843-421-8510

Serial number

Post by Wayne Ledbetter »

Based on some earlier data on the Forum regarding Zum serial numbers. This was built as a D10, 8 pedals, 4 knee levers, the 373 number puts it in 1990. It appears the 5 lever was added after initial build??? This is going off the D1084373 serial number. I am like you I couldn't find Zum website. At one time, I could get site and telephone number and visited with Mr. Bruce about Zum. Btw thanks for using your talent in church.
Sho Bud Super Pro, Fender Twin Reissue, Martin HD-28, Gibson J-45, Gibson RB-250,Stelling Bellflower,Regal Dobro, Takamine and Alvarez Classical, Fender Telecaster, Peavey Studio Pro 112. Mainly played Gospel and some bluegrass.

:) My opinion, Zum is number one. Can't go wrong with a Zum; just my 2 cents worth.
