ANNOUNCING: Telonics TLF-Pre500 Lite-Flight Preamp System
The Telonics TLF-Pre500 Lite-Flight Preamplifier system is designed specifically for the road musician who generally must fly to gigs throughout the world. It accepts any power source, drops in a suitcase with his or her clothes and guarantees the means to consistently and reliably produce "his or her" specific sound from gig to gig, without having to rely on hired backline equipment. It is the ultimate for DI and in-ear gigging and headphone recording. It offers the same wide-range “multiple personality†EQ system as the other TCA500 series Telonics amplifier products. It weighs 5.8 pounds including its power cable and includes an internal universal AC mains power supply for worldwide usage without switching.
Just drop it in your suitcase between your clothes and fly to your next gig, no extra luggage and “your†sound is always consistent. No more worries about rental amplifiers provided at the venue.
It offers the Telonics pristine analog modeled DI, as well as a Preamplifier OUT which can be used to drive slave power amplifier/speaker units when desired.
Supplied with a custom quality D2F pouch as shown in the photos below.
The d2f soft pouch fits both units.

Sorry for the delay Barry, MSRP for the unit as-described, is $1719 + shipping costs. The matching d2f soft pouch is $40.
It is also available WITH an internal 500 watt (RMS) power amplifier to drive a 4 or 8 ohm speaker load, with an MSRP of $1929 + shipping costs.
The addition of the 500 watt power amplifier adds 0.9 pounds to the weight.

Telonics delivers one of the best customer services I have seen. Fast response, deep knowledge and good explanations to questions.
I have the pedal, which is absolutely great, but I have yet to test their amp. By its reputation with steel guitar players and the service they provide, it must also be world class. Certainly looking forward to be the owner of an amp but still have to make my choice which model to pick. Keep up the good work at Telonics and also nice to see that new innovations are coming to life!

What Johnny (and Dave) said.Johnny Cox wrote:Wow, this solves many problems for players that have to fly or always play direct. Pure genius as always with Telonics.
My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?
