For sale Sho bud steel guitar The Professional $1850
I had this listed as a pro 2 but I was wrong.Sorry for the inconvenience I caused anyone.I have a Shobud steel guitar that hasnt been played in 35+ years. I dont know much about it it was my grandpas and he never learned to play either, so its been pretty much sitting in its case for a very long time. The serial number is 2354 1-a-3. It was produced between 1969 to 1973 I believe. It has 4 knee levers, and is amazingly beautiful. Asking 1850 or what is fair. Thank you for your time.

Thanks thats pretty cool to know. I talked to a gentleman who was explaining the way Shobud did the numbers. I knew at one point there was also a gentleman who worked there that had alot of the records from Shobud. Im sure most of the people here forgot more then I'll ever know, I've always just been in love with the sound.

Robin, You should keep it and have it cleaned and set up with new strings and learn how to play it some in memory of your Grandfather. It is a beautiful steel and looks nearly new. It is a jewel. Worth every penny you are asking. J.R. Rose

I have always loved the sound of a steel guitar thats why I dont listen to much of the newer country music. The talent you all have is unbelievable. I never have been good at learning to play instruments I have given a few a shot without good results. I hope the sound comes back around I think with some of the singers coming up from the "underground" nashvilles starting to get its the one sound you can't replace
