Peavey Speakers

Post by Jimmy Steelman »

I'll drop the price to $150.00, and split the cost of shp., to the Lower 48. As to the Ohms, I put a metre on the Emminence speaker and it read 4 (which is what they are rated); then I put it on the Peavey and it read 6. So, I don't know what to think there. But these speakers have a fantastic sound, so if no one is interested I will keep them for myself.

Jimmy, look on that white tag near the terminals. It will show model # such as XXXX-X [1204 etc. 4 or 8] ohms.

Thanks, Jerry: Never noticed that tag - must be blind in one eye and can't see out the other! So after reading that tag, I can say the speakers are 8 Ohms. Again, I thank you, Jerry. You learn something every day, thanks to our fellow steelers!
