Fender triple neck parts?
I have a triple-neck Fender steel that I want to make playable. For some reason the control plate with the knobs is missing, among a few other things. Just wondering if anyone might have one laying around that they might part with.

These little inserts from McMaster-Carr will make standard 1/2-13 thread legs work with the older Fender leg sockets.

Be sure to double check the thread size in your sockets to make sure this is the right part though.
I don't have any spare parts for a Fender but it might help to give a little more detail about what Fender you have. Is it a custom console (with trapezoid pickups), a Stringmaster (with a couple of variations in switch plates) or did Fender make a triple neck pedal steel (I don't know)? A picture would be even better.

Just noticed that the black phosphate ones are a good bit cheaper than the stainless. Don't know if it's worth the price difference.

Thanks Bill!
I was just wondering a little while ago if there might be any way to adapt a standard "modern" leg. I am a McMaster Carr junkie so I'm surprised I didn't look there already....
The guitar is a 1953 model with trapazoid pickups:
I have since located a control plate, but I still need knobs, a switch, a tone cap, etc. I may just go with new stuff there rather than trying to locate "vintage" replacements.

Note the round hole in the plate with the neck selector switch. That is for a toggle switch that turned all the necks on. On my Custom that toggle switch drastically reduced the output of the pickups, especially the front neck, to the point of uselessness. Just sayin'...

Thanks Herb! I was wonderin' what that missing switch was for. I only have experiences with the double neck guitars of this era so I was puzzled....

Thanks Matthew! But I was able to locate a control plate that is in transit.
I also think I have located a set of legs.
Thanks to everyone who has responded!

I just restored a 5/15/53 T8 it looked just like yours before I started, I thought it was refinished, but now I'm thinking they did some with clear coats of nitro that goes amber with time !

I know I'm late on this, since I'm brand new here
But Tommy did you ever find those legs? If not I have two good ones and one broken one and I'm in Los Angeles.
Lee, May I ask did you refinish that on your own? That's absolutely beautiful. Did you have to take apart Everything? How much would it cost to refinish mine with that same color?
