Maybe wrong forum? Best way to ship a PSG internationally?

Post by Travis Lyon »

I'm moving back to Ireland soon (from Kenya) and my steel will be in the states. It's in my folks' care, and I actually packed it up the last time I was home so it's set.

But, what is the best or cheapest way to ship a steel internationally? When I shipped it home from Ireland I used the Irish postal service, and it was only $80, but it seems it is going to cost a lot more than that to get it back. Time is not a big issue.

Bax Global Schenker

I've had good luck in terms of cost and safety when sending a number of steels to Europe and Japan with what used to be called Bax Global. Now it has been integrated into Schenker Inc. I did my own packing.

Bax Global, Inc.’s international freight forwarding and logistics operations have been integrated into Schenker, Inc. In 40 seconds you will be redirected to Schenker, Inc.’s new website. Please bookmark the new address, http://www.dbschenkerusa.com or call 800-225-5229.
