Newman Profex II listing moved to SG Forum

Post by Jack Stoner »

I developed the listing for the Jeff Newman Profex II programs back in 1997 and hosted it on my web site. I'm shutting down my web site in January, thus a new host was needed for the listing. B0b has come to the rescue and is now hosting it on the forum.

Those that have it bookmarked, change it to the new forum address:

Thanks for taking the time to put this together, Jack. That's a LOT of work.

Mike there may be an inconsistency or two in the list as I took it from my Transtube Fex. I bought a memory card from Carter Guitar Co and it came loaded with the Newman programs (how I got them).

I have a listing of some Transtube Fex/TubeFex programs on my web site too. Should they be transferred to the Forum too?

It took a little while to compile but being retired I had plenty of time.

#1 Did Buddy actually make those settings up himself?
#2 Did Paul Franklin ever sit down and make his own settings?

cache card 32 needed

Post by Jack Lee »

I had posted in the electronics section that I lost all my presets of Jeff,Huey and all the other greats. I was told by Peavey that I would need the above card to load all the settings into my Profex 2.. I have not received any response to my request as where to get the card and how to load it. I would appreciate any help I can get on this issue. Thank you!
