For Sale SD-10

Post by Martin Weenick »

I built this guitar about six months ago. Have played it very little. As new condition. Has three pedals, five knees, all ball bearing shafts, Grover tuners, ten split screws, Alumatone pickup, cover, leg bag, new Thomas case. The guitar sounds great and plays great. Asking $1850.00 and I will pay shipping and insurance. Lower 48 only. Can do Pay Pal.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate that. I dont build for the money it's a hobby and as long as I can cover what I have into it as far as material goes I'm happy. Forget the labor cost, if you add that in they would cost $20,000.00.

Martin,
Is there room for a 4th pedal? Looks like there would be on the pedal shaft, but on the cross bar side frame I don't see a hole/slot.

Tom, sorry but I did not put a shaft and pedal stop in for a fourth pedal. Thanks for asking.

Carl, I don't know exactly but I will guess at 62 to 65 pounds. That's real close.

I might add that Martin is a great guy! We had the chance to visit by phone a couple of times a year or so ago as we both live in areas of high humidity and discussed challenges faced when finishing lacquered guitars without the costly state of the tempered controlled painting facilities. Its obvious how meticulous Martin is in his work and the extremely professional craftsmanship that resides in this guitar as well as the others he's built in the past. Do a search and you will see his work!
