Howard ,et al: A "pair" is comprised of one unit. A 'unit' is a strap button AND the security locking piece that closes over the strap button.

If available, I would like to buy TWO pair of the locks (enough for two guitars) I get back to the USA June 22 and you can send the locks after that. I will give your address once I'm back

They didn't come with felt pads. If they had, then the answer would be yes. Luckily, felt is readily available and almost everyone has a pair of scissors...
