No speakers. Cabinet is rough (non-original grill cloth) but all hardware is there and in decent shape. There is a split in the cabinet on the right side panel which according to a luthier friend is an easy repair - there is no buzzing when playing.

All transformers/chokes date to '67. AB763 circuit is not messed with. Filter caps were replaced with Spragues. Original reverb pan. I had the amp gone through by Greg Leon in May last year. He replaced a few tubes (I have the bill). It's not been played since then for more than an hour - I intended to convert it to a 15" speaker for pedal steel, but have too much stuff on the go at the moment. The reverb tube needs replacing - Greg put an NOS in there but it started whining after playing and I dint get round to swapping it out.

I'm also including a Larry Rodgers pine 1 x 15" baffle with aged grill cloth (looks very authentic).

This amp sounds really good!

Local pickup only in Playa del Rey Ca 90293

I'm surprised someone hasn't jumped all over this...great deal and a good candidate to turn into a head to lessen the weight..

Hi Chris, Yeah, I'm surprised too! Like you say, it would make a great head.
I can throw in a really clean Larry Rodgers aged 1x15 baffle too if someone wants to convert it.
Cheers,
Tim

Good idea to convert it to a head. Agree to sell and ship the chassis to me Tim (while you sell the cab separately)...and I'm in! :)

Thanks Steve, I'd be too worried about shipping the chassis separately. I would ship the whole lot if you want to pay for shipping/packing.
Thanks. Tim

I've opted to bow out but can vouch that Tim was very helpful. I believe the previous posted price was $795 (picked up). I hope it's ok that I posted this Tim :)

This is a great price for a Blackface Twin. Heck, Silverface Twins in much worse shape sell for more. I bet if some 6-string guitar players knew about this it would have been sold by now. Someone should take advantage of this classic! Seems like aside from a cabinet repair (which is super easy to do) and a new reverb tube (which cost nothing) it's ready to go. Most importantly it's apparently had a cap job. What more could you ask for for this price?!

I agree maybe if a 6-stringer could see a picture of what's for sale it might have already sold?

Close Scott...I'd recommend installing speakers before using it though.
