Just saw this pedal, I'm liking how the strings sound. Not crazy about a couple of the others.

EHX is really making some amazing pedals these days! That said, I have very little use for any of the supercool ones like this or the Key9 and C9 because it changes the character of the steel guitar completely. I do like the way the new Leslie pedal sounds, though.
When I was a teenager, I used to skip school and go to the EHX showroom on 48th St. in NYC. Definitely the coolest hang on the block for me! They would give performances that utilized their pedals. Of course, all of it was out of my budget, but it set my dreams in motion.

I hate to say this, but I'm with Mike on this one, as far as steel guitar goes. I'm about to return a B9 pedal, not because it doesn't work as advertised, but because the only way to make it work well is not play like a steel. I would use it on my guitar, but it stops being effective when you play fast single note lines, in my opinion
Sigh
What I do love with the steel is the Eventide H9, which enhances, and the Waldorf 2 pole, which makes it a mono synth, basically. Steel sounds wonderful, to me, through these
