I had the chance to try out one of these and WOW do they sound good. I preferred it over the Steelaire. Really easy to dial in a great sound. Incredible they can get that much sound out of an 8 inch speaker - easily handles the lows on C6th. This could handle just about any gig you throw at it. Extension cab and microphone would handle the really really big gigs.

Anybody using the the mach 2 head with a 12 inch cabinet? Interested in hearing if anyone is using this, maybe with the Travis Toy speaker?

I bet that sounds great as well. I got the 8" smaller gigs and will run a 12 or 15 for anything really big. I can't imagine having any more low end than this thing kicks out.

So you did get a Quilter Chris? Would love to hear clips or a demo with steel...

I have an older MicroPro head and love it. My favorite set up is a K-120 in an open back pine cab and a Telonics in a Thiele cab, on top of each other...big sound.
I tried mine out, side by side with a Steelaire, the MicroPro sounded much better to me...
I also use it with a 2x12 cab( with D-120s) and a couple of single 15's, JBL or Telonics.
Great amps.

Here's something really quick, but demonstrates the lows. I couldn't afford it, but couldn't help myself for the price.

I heard one last weekend I was impressed . There was someone trying one out at Jim's shop in Oceanside. It had impressive bottom end for a amp with a 8" speaker. I was picking up my steel from having some work done so I heard it from a distance and up close then I had to pick it up to see how heavy it was. The person trying it out left with it ,
