| One of my students wants to learn the Johnny Cash song, Slow Rider. I don't know the tune, can't find tab or music. Does anyone have this in tab or musical notation, any tuning, any instrument? I can transpose to dobro. I tried Sheet Music Plus, Hal Leonard and more. The version on You Tube has 10 minutes of talking to wade through to get to the song. |

Hi Robert,
Slow Rider is from the Johnny Cash album "Ride This Train" which is available on Spotify. There's also a good tune called "Poppa Played the Dobro" which obviously has some good Dobro stuff on it.

Thanks Keith. Once I had the title of the album I was able to find the track on CD Universe and download the mp3 for 99 cents. I was always afraid to play Papa Played the Dobro because Gibson might sue me.  |
