Telonics leg-mounted programmable MIDI Effects controller

Post by Dave Beaty »

Telonics is pleased to introduce the first leg-mounted MIDI-based Effects Controller with programmable multiple seamless “jump-to/from” patch/preset” change buttons.

The Handy Patch was designed with Steel players, the Telonics TCA-500B Combo and the TC Electronic G-Major 2 Effects Processor in mind; however, it can be used as a MIDI controller for the Lexicon MX200 or any other MIDI controllable effects processor.
Mounted on the leg of a steel, it offers two seamless “jump-to” buttons and an additional foot switch jack for instant recall of favorite presets/”patches” (such as ‘Bro sounds), up/down bump or roll buttons, a Control Change wheel, and output power for Telonics pedals.
It sends MIDI commands and receives power via a single cable which connects to the Telonics TCA500 series amplifiers incorporating the G-Major 2 Effects Processor.
It can also be powered using its own PS-1 power supply.

Nice addition to your range Dave. Although I have been using a European MIDI patch/channel controller for some time with my TCA500, I will be interested to try one of these at the Dallas Show. :D
