I have the Jim Pulte album. Lee Sklar on bass, Jim Keltner on drums, produced by Jesse Davis. Great album! But it's the only song Buddy plays on.

Sounds like Buddy double tracked the solo.
I agree Chris. I've listened to the CD with headphones on. From the start there's some heavy panneling (sp) of the steel from right to left. On the solo and outro it is on both channels playing slightly different.
