* Zumsteel Hybrid - D10, 8 & 9, Black *

Post by Tommy Dodd »

It is with great reluctance I am offering my 2005 Zum Hybrid for sale. This is a very rare instrument and fully loaded for any level of player. The guitar was originally built for Larry Sasser but played very little due to his health issues. I purchased the guitar from him and have had immense pleasure playing this tone monster. The setup is basically an "enhanced" Emmons with the E's on the left knee with some other additional changes to accommodate more of today's licks and chords. Due to previous negative comments and responses with forum postings of some high-line guitars I have chosen to not list a price. If you are a serious potential buyer for a steel guitar of this caliber please contact me directly through pm (private mail) or email below.

I've seen and heard this guitar. Tommy can make any guitar sound great, but this one has something special. Good luck on the sale, Tommy. Wish I was able to snag this one.

That is stunning! I bet I can't afford it but I'd sure like it......

Guitar is on hold pending funds. Those who've asked to be put in line will be contacted if my local sale is not completed.

Got this guitar from Tommy yesterday, and all I can say is WOW! This is the most inspiring guitar that I have ever owned. The tone and sustain on this guitar is heads above any other guitar that I have ever owned!

Thanks for the great deal Tommy! It was a blast getting to hang out and catch up. I look forward to doing it again soon!

Amazing! What a beauty! What is that design you added next to the pickguard. I want to get one on for my own.

Those are pick guards that Tommy bids and sales. They protect the neck of the guitar from getting marred up by your picks. Tommy can give you more info on them I am sure....
