Just the other day a friend of mine called me from a warehouse that he was cleaning out he told me that he had found a guitar asked if I would like to purchase it I told him sure so anyway I drove down to get it and I just got word it was a double neck national lap steel completely functional the only problem is it's too heavy to sit on your lap there are no legs with this unit however at stock it would have had legs where can I purchase au set of legs for this instrument looking for information thanks god bless and have a great day

You can get a set from Don Burrows of BSG guitars and he will put any size of threaded plugs in them (just let him know the desired thread(tpi) and threaded end dia. of plug. If he doesn't stock it ,he will turn out what u need. Don's legs are some of the best made legs available. (Not actually Don's real legs.....but a much prettier custom built set)....no offense to Don's real legs, but......u get my drift. also Don and Ruby are two of the nicest folks you will ever talk with bar none..http://bsgsteelguitars.com/

I finally had all my 1979 MSA's legs stripped, and was desperate. I contacted Scotty's - they spoke of finding a machinist who could make a set of these "glorified mic stands", but then was told of a guy up my neck of the woods.
Don, who runs http://bsgsteelguitars.com/, took care of me for a reasonable rate, and his work was great.
That was several years back, but he appears to still be in business. Good guy.
