I know it sounds appealing to change tunings at the flip of a lever or with a string bender, on a lap steel, dobro or guitar, but isn't there always a problem with the non bent/tuned strings going out of tune?

I've not ever noticed a problem on any of my multibender builds. I'd think as long as the underlying build is solid without any headstock flex / deflection, then all should be fine.

Thanks. The key is in the headstock. I've wondered if a graphite insert in the neck of an acoustic instrument might be helpful for them.
