1976 Marlen S-10, 3x4 Red, White and Blue...SOLD
I bought this 1976 Marlen on the forum a couple of years ago. I wanted to learn something about the pull/release mechanics. It did need quite a bit of work, clean up and getting it back into proper playing condition. I have several guitars and I hardly ever play it, so it's time to sell.
It's a pretty cool looking guitar, obviously, the color is pretty distinctive and eye-catching. There are a lot of nicks and scrapes in the in the finish, and it's faded a little, but it's still looks pretty good. The body is solid, everything works as it should.
The set up is:
Standard Emmons pedals, A,B, C
LKL raises 4 and 8
LKR lowers 4 and 8
RKL raises 1 and 7 a half step
RKR lowers 2 and 9
It's a very good sounding guitar, like all pull/ release guitars. It stays in tune very well. And the pedals and levers operate smoothly, with very little effort. The case is solid and in very good condition, also includes the leg bag. The price is 950.00 shipped, to the lower 48 states. I can accept PayPal, if you will add 3%. A money order is OK, a personal check is OK, if you don't mind waiting for the check to clear before shipping. Here are some pics.

Is it possible to replace the P/R changer with an all pull?

Good move Hugh. This one should be similar to the great guitars made by Bob Simmons that you and I own.
