Emmons Button Tuners

Post by kbdrost »

Anybody know where I can get a tuner for a push-pull? Are these just the Kluson tuners you can find on Ebay?

Thanks, David, but those tuners are designed for guitars, so I guess that's basically my question... will these "vintage" button tuners fit on and work with my Emmons?

Tuning keys

Post by Larry Moore »

Ken
I just bought the the Gotoh Vintage Style Oval Tuners. Item # 0933
The come 3 left & 3 right to a set.

So you have to order 2 sets for a S-10 or 4 sets for a D-10.

They fit right on my 67 Emmons D-10 pp. some times you might have to enlarge the mounting holes to about 1/8 inch.
I used the old screws

Ken, do you just need one original Kluson tuning key or are you looking for a set? I still have a few used Klusons from Emmons push pull guitars both the small button and the "tulip" shaped ones.
