Changeover Push-pull to All-pull GUITAR TRADED

Post by Paul Norman »

I have not called this guitar an Emmons. However I was told when I bought it that it was a push-pull changeover . I do not want to deceive anybody and especially Erv Niehaus who seems to have a lot to do with this sale.TRADED NO LONGER FOR SALE

Hi beautiful guitar.. It looks like the one I had... Had to sell it when the wife passed few years ago. I've since bought this beautiful sho Bud LDG. I love almost as much as my little Emmons. Great tone has the bl 705.. It's kinda heavy for me to Carry to gigs due to back issues. Though I would put it out there to offer a trade. Thank you

Henry,
After looking over the pictures a little closer, I have serious doubts that this is a converted Emmons p/p. I have received a couple of contacts from other steelers that have expressed the same sentiments. I have worked on some converted p/p's and they don't look anything like this guitar. I doubt that the cabinet is Emmons. It might have some Emmons components but it is definitely NOT a converted p/p. Even the Emmons logo on front looks cockeyed.

Chris,
Yes, it is minus any traces of flocking. Also, it's minus the row of holes in the front apron where they stuck in the cross shafts.
