Deal Pending 2004 Carter D10 9+8 Black For Sale

Post by Tony Prior »

Deal Pending...in the works... I will advise

I hope I don't regret selling this axe... For Sale, my BLACK workhorse D10, 2004 (BCT) Carter, 9+8. Excellent. Case also excellent. I am the 2nd owner and have owned this guitar since 2006, it has been a real workhorse.

Pups, E9th GL/E66, C6th, GL/Eon which is another version of the E66.

Very strong configuration from the factory. Totally stock guitar.

Setup, E9th 4 Peds, Franklin Pedal on outside position with standard ABC Emmons. LKL,raise E's, LKR, lower E's.. , L Vertical lower 5, RKL, raise 1 raise 2 raise 7, RKR, lower 2, lower 9. Yes it has tuneable-splits.

C6th setup, standard 5 Pedals, RKR raise 4, RKL lower 3, Center KL raise 3 raise 7, Center KV lower 4 lower 8, Center KR lower 5. .

Condition, I think it's excellent, no battle scars to speak of. I have a black insert under each key head to protect the mica from string scars as well . I can remove them or keep them in place. They serve a great purpose !

Original Carter Manual included .

Wonderful player, excellent action. Standard height from floor. Well maintained. Very balanced tone... Spare new neck selector switch included , just in case...

9x8 setup and the changer still looks only half filled... Wow, what possibilities...

Just window shopping though, no available cash to play with, unfortunately.

Yeah! Triple Raise/Triple lower changer. What this really allows for is a very flexible set-up...all sorts of options for sure especially with 5 position bell cranks... :)

Ahhh..I did overlook something that I added years back, the 2nd string firm half stop spring, a very stiff stop at the half stop...it can be removed easily and interferes with nothing. But, if you like using the 2nd string half and full tone lever, you most likely will find it to your liking.

Wow Tony, can't believe you're selling this one. Hope you have another "workhorse" in the wings, because this one has been.

I would love to have but as Tim mentioned, funds are in short supply these days. Good luck, hope it finds a good home, not a flipper.
