Damir, That $10,000 would sure be helpful at my house ( hummmm, new lawn mower, hedge trimmers, paint job on my ole pickup, etc. )

Lets see, what have I got I could send you, humm !

Larry and Damir, thanks for the favorable comments, very much appreciated. Lonnie

Stephen Kuester wrote:I'm sure that's all true. I'm sure he's a great fella. I never accused Mr. Portwood of anything. You guys apparently have a "when I get around to it" shipping policy. That doesn't fly with me. Interesting business model.

Good luck with that.
good luck to you have anyone selling you anything on this forum with shitty attitude like that...

I don't know about you guys but the only thing I have to do is go immediately and ship something that someone has bought from me on the forum.I don't have to work, take care of a house, mow grass, pay bills, spend time with family, care for animals, keep up vehicle maintenance, etc.

I was being sarcastic Damir. I think the buyer was acting totally ridiculous.

Certified check returned and received today.

For what was essentially a cash transaction, prompt shipping was all i wanted. Not, drop what you're doing right now, but certainly more than 'when I get around to it.' I don't think that's in any way an unreasonable request.

No hard feelings, Mr. Portwood. If you can guarantee me shipping within 48 hours of receipt of payment, I'll send the money right back to you.

Here is just one of a few transactions gone sour. A forum member buys my LeGrande 111
I received his payment at nine thirty in the morning, dropped the guitar at UPS at ten, put check in the bank went home, phone rang, Oh my God I don,t know what I was thinking ,I can't do this please refund my money. Back to the bank sent bank draft to him, went to UPS and my guitar was still there. End of story almost. A couple of years later the same guy wants to buy my Emmons PP. Sorry no sale.

Wow! Gary, This absolutely the most beautiful Emmons I've ever seen. I don't remember seeing this on the Forum. You must have been praying pretty hard! Good luck with it. Lonnie

Lonnie, that is a great quote, just forwarded it to my pastor. I'm just kicking tires at this point, but I hope you post if that sale doesn't go through. Sure caught my eye.
