Sounds like Don, but I don't think it is.

More likely another Hall Of Fame member on a song he co-wrote with the singer, who recorded several dozen songs without a hit.

Good Morning,

and sorry for being late. Yes, it is Charlie Gore singing, with Don Helms on Steel. Although the song credits list Charlie Gore and Jrry Byrd as writers, the steel has the typical Don Helms touch. Also, the other two songs recorded on the same session in November 1953 have Uncle Don on steel.
