My favorite adolescent fantasy. It's also a great album. Really.

Not well known, but Allan "Jake" Jacobs made some great records. He was also part of the duo "Bunky and Jake".

Pedal steel, lap steel, resonator, blues harp - why suck at just one instrument when you can do so on many?

All right! Nice to see all those pics. Lots of good stuff! Just to let you all know, I'm not asking for just #1 favorites. Post whatever else you have that you favor in your collection. Keep 'em coming! :D

Darlene Edwards: "That's where Jonathan really contributes, in the free flow of musical ideas. He demands complete freedom, and he sees no reason why, for example, there can't be five beats in a 4/4 bar. Who said so?"

The artist is a good writer and performer. In addition, three of the cuts contain some of my dobro wizardry. Vinyl being released right about now.
