Condolences

Post by Pat Moore »

Lynn,
I'm certainly sorry to hear about your loss of your Mother and of your Father. You have my deepest condolences.
I lost both of my folks when they were in their mid 50's. In your sadness, just be comforted with the fact that you had them both for such a long time.
Peace to you my friend,
Pat

your Mother

Post by Gary Cooper »

Lynn, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathy. Having parents buried in a National Cemetery is truly an honor. I too have lost my Mom and Dad. Every day I thank God for giving me loving parents and for introducing me to music. So much for which I am thankful.

Thanks So Very Much

Post by Lynn Stafford »

I just want to extend my thanks to everyone for all your very kind words about the loss of my mother. It's so wonderful to read what you all have written and it means more to me than you can possibly imagine. I feel very blessed to know most of you personally and I really treasure the friendships that I've developed with each of you.

Kathy and I returned back home from South San Francisco late last night, after having spent a considerable amount of time there dealing with family business along with getting my mother's house cleared out, in order to prepare it to be sold. My parents bought this home new in 1949, so just try and imagine the accumulation of things if you can. I'm quite sure I've recycled close to a ton of paper and cardboard, just to give you an idea... not to mention the many loads of donations we made to our church and Goodwill. It was a labor of my love, however and I'm very grateful that mom was able to live there independently for the eight years since the passing of my father.

Best regards to all,

Lynn and Kathy Stafford

Lynn,
Your story sounds so similar to me and my parents.
So I Can understand what you guys are feeling.
Just be glad you brought her to Oregon.
You did the right thing, and although you miss them, you won't have the regrets of not doing all you could.
I know your a good and honest man, thanks for being there, you won;t be sorry. Just remember the good times.

PS
I'm still pickin' the Red Carter you sold me.
Gary
