What a great guitar !!
Jim, aren't them JCH fretboards? I always liked them.

Are they what Gary is using now?

Shouldn't last long.

TXS Mike,

Like I said, I love them JCH fretboards. I've owned a couple of JCH's, a D10 and an SD-10. I had a real nice bright red JCH D-10 and it had the "Crawford Cluster" on it, but it was set up Day set up. It also had 10 pedals. I have changed many copedents on many to either Emmons or Day set up, but, the undercarriage of this was so fully bunched together with all of the pedals and knee levers, that it was like putting a V-8 or V-10 engine in a Volkswagon. So I didn't want to change it around to Emmons set up, which is what I play. So, unfortunately, I sold it. I kept it for a while and loved the guitar.

Hi David,

Actually the guitar came without the logo. Gary was so busy he had forgotten to put it on so he sent me one a few days after I got the guitar and I put it on (with the help of my good friend Larry Petree). It is on now.

Thanks for asking,

Jim

Is this the new model with the tone so many brag about? If so, what's your assessment of it, Jim? How does it compare to other steels you've owned or played?

This is painful. I wish I had the money. If you'll take my Williams SD10 as a partial trade... maybe we could work something out.
