Daniel, I think what you will experience on the Tele is a little more effort will be needed in your string bends.Daniel Policarpo wrote:I put on a set of E9 Stainless a couple days ago that fellow forum member and friend Dennis Lee was kind enough to share. It's all true. WoW... I am a believer! I can't go to another string set now that I've "been experienced". Thanks Dennis and thank you to the Hudson family for providing a great product. I'm going to have to try these on my Telecasters.
This is due to the fact that the core wire is stronger and the tensile strength is higher in Live Steel strings.
The payoff is a thicker and punchier sounding mid range.

I just put a new set of strings on my guitar. I got to thinking of how often I use to change strings as compared to the last few years since I've been using "LIVE STEELS". When I first started doing sessions full time, I would actually change strings sometimes (3) times a week! After a few days they would lose their sustain and I'd start to fight tuning. Now, I pretty much change The LIVE STEELS once every two weeks! I've been touring some with REBA, and I change the strings on that guitar maybe once a month. And better yet, they sound better than any other string I have ever used.
If you guys haven't tried them, I urge you to put a set of LIVE STEEL STRINGS on your guitar. I have really enjoyed using them

Sid,
Maybe you could stamp a date code (Born on) on the packages? Yeah, a little more work but would help QC if you expand. Might make your wife a millionaire!!

live steel
I just bought my first set of strings and in the process of installation I broke 2 of them. I called live steel and told them what happened and they sent replacements without me asking. That is great service! I did not have any sustain with my original set of strings and these have brought my guitar back to life. THANKS,I will be purchasing more.

For those with recent difficulty in online ordering, I've an update.
They're a charmingly retro outfit and only one person processes the Internet orders, and she's been out sick. She should be back today.
Foreigners, have patience.
Americans, pick up the phone.
