I have 526 L ( a D10 SKH) and had the hardest time trying to track the # down. I finally found out that it was originally white , but when purchased new from a dealer in SC, the owner sent it back to the emmons factory to be done over in glossy black .
So they made a few of them white.
I love that guitar!

Ray Gantek who used to be the Steel Guitar player at the Orange Blossom Opry in Wiersdale Fl (near The Villages) has a D-10 Emmons PP that is white.

Received a few PM's re my serial number and hard time tracing it.
The reason I had a hard time tracing the serial # was that the original colour had something to do with the serial # ( i' ve been told.)
In any case , Thank you all. I have a complete history of the guitar now.

When I visited the Mandolin Brothers store in 1997, they had a white P-P.

Got a 74' white D10 push-pull.

According to an old Emmons' sales brochure I have, the mica's color is called "White Tidewater".

I always thought it would be a nice steel for one who regularly plays church services and such.
