Doug Beaumier has a nice version in his book "25 More Songs for Lap Steel Guitar, C6 Tuning"

Hi

I have looked at this book in the past.

I totally respect the contents of it.

Even though learning all those songs
would be great for my progress on learning
the Lap Steel. 80% of the songs in the book
are not songs I would normally have in my set list.

In that case, you could check out Doug's excellent C6 version on YouTube. You may be able to figure out the arrangement from the good view of his hands. I have both of Doug's books and learning a number of the songs (including Walking After Midnight) sure made it easier to figure out other songs on my own.

My version is attached. We play it in the Key of G, though, because it's easier for our (male) singer to sing it. It lays out nicely in C6th, though, in this key.

Sorry about the sloppiness of it. Hopefully you can make some sense out of it.
