This guitar was listed for sale on 8 Dec from Chocowinity NC, it drew much response but for some reason or another going back and forth it never got sold and I ended up buying it. I have an Emmons LeGrande II and had a trade deal going and my intent was to keep the Mullen for my main guitar but the Emmons deal fell thru so I am selling the Mullen. In the interest of full disclosure there is a small indent about the center of the front, a close up picture will show it A red SD-10 Mullen with 3 and 5. I have owned several guitars and this one is the best looking by far. The case is good and solid but inside has some small tears on the upper side. As for packing I hire a packer at a ups packing station, he supplies all material and labor, It cost is more but I want to avoid some of the packing problems I have read about. This is a Pre-RP Mullen with that good sound.

I bought one like this nearly identical from another fellow on this forum (red pre-rp Mullen), and I have to say, it's pretty much a dream guitar to play. I swapped in a George L 10-1, but that's just my taste. The steel sounds gorgeous. Also, fwiw, it's not a very heavy steel at all - I used to use split cases with rollers, and I just carry this one in one hand (YMMV of course).

Somebody needs this. These older Pre-RPs are great guitars. I have one just like it except it is S-10 with 1/2 pad; has same embedded tuning keys. Unusual great tone, get many compliments. So, get on it
