lowering the steel w/shorter legs

Post by Matt Williams »

Im about 5'9" with a long torso and shorter legs. Im noticing that to engage for instance pedal down position and LKL Im on the toes of the left foot, and there's no way to keep my heel low. My Pro-I needs new legs anyway. Should I just get a new set that's an inch or so lower? Ad if so, where do you order these from?

Bear in mind that shortened legs will require shortened pedal rods. However I certainly do recommend doing whatever is necessary to avoid contortions to reach your levers, whether it means shortening the legs or extending the levers.
