Supro Console 8

Post by Liz Williams »

I bought this from SGF member Doug Beaumier year or two ago. These steels were made between 1958 and 1960 and are such a joy to play. Doug took beautiful pictures and posted a video to you tube demonstrating the superior boo-wah this steel can produce. This time around this steel is stuck with me!

The plastic pick-up cover has a solidly repaired crack. That's it - the rest looks great and works perfectly. Even the case is in great shape.

SOLD. Thanks for looking.

Hi Liz,
That's a wonderful guitar! I have both 8&6-string versions. Keepers, for sure....
Good price....

Excellent guitar priced below it's worth. Great deal for someone. I might add that Liz is a very sweet person to deal with.

I agree with Olli and Rick!!!
I have this exact same guitar but not in such beautiful condition.
This is a really good price for this guitar. Less than I paid for mine.

I owned this guitar before Liz, and I can tell you that it sounds great... strong output from the pickup; the electronics work well and the tuners work well. No issues. I would buy this back in a second if I didn't already have a dozen steel guitars, including D-8s, quad 8, and others. The price is excellent and includes shipping!

All this SGF love put a big smile on my face this morning. Thank you guys. Hi Ollie. I would love to hear you play this guitar. Between needing to finance writing a book and living on a houseboat (no storage), I'm having to cut into the bone a bit on this one. Thanks for your help it getting it to a good home.

Paul Hutzler, I didn't get your pm. Please either email me at zizzlah@mac.com or give me a call: 510.484.3079.
