I really can't wait to see what looks to be a great show. A few months ago, listening to Cowboy Eddie Long play on Jamey Johnson's album "That Lonesome Song" inspired me to stop thinking about learning to play the pedal steel and actually begin learning. A google search sent me to the GaSGA, where I saw Tommy Dodd lived a few minutes away from me. I called up Tommy up, started lessons with him, and now, thanks to a great teacher, I'm full-on addicted to the instrument. It will be really cool for me to see both Tommy and Cowboy playing.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all at the show.

I'm getting excited about the show. And am looking foward to picking with Mike again.
Also, I'm looking forward to having a good friend and bandmate from the old Shawn Camp band Rex Garner from Rockmart, GA playing upright bass on our set. Gonna be a family reunion.

I'll be there to see everyone! I'm out of hibernation and I can't wait for the show. It'll be great to see all my Georgia family again. Especially Bill Ferguson! Also will be great seeing Cowboy again!

Jerry, thanks for coming!

For those who weren't at the show yesterday, you missed a great one. Sweeney, Siler, Cowboy, and all out local/regional guys put on a first class performance.

Thanks to the steel players, staff band, officers, volunteers, and vendors!!!

Stay tuned for details of our next show June 14th.

Eddie stayed with Linda and I. Part of the deal was that we would feed him REAL food, provide "5 star hotel" service.

In return he was supposed to go easy on me. Well I knew better. We had a great time together, but he burned my you know what!
