Coated Strings
Has anyone ever tried coated strings like Elixers on PSG? Seems like they might cut down bar noise on pull-offs, etc.

I got a few sets of the Elixer acoustic strings years ago when they first were introduced (sent to me free, can't remember how, but I think it had something to do with dental floss and a responce card).
But the point is, they felt good on my fingers, but lost tone very quickly, and are at least twice as expensive as other alternatives.
