If it's the guitar I think it is, the pics don't do it justice. The ones I've seen have a translucent black such that the wood grain shows. Very cool looking guitar

It's the guitar you're thinking of John Miller, my pic's do not show the figure of the wood through the translucent finish.

Thanks for the kind words, you see that steel peaking out from the middle of the group shot?
That Dobro hanger started life a my Mothers cutting board. I watched my Dad cut it out with a cope saw sixty years ago. I had to find something for it to do
as my mom "quit using it" 18 years ago. so I reshaped it and put it to work.
