Midnight Silence/ Fred Justice

Post by Fred Justice »

This has been one of my favorite songs going way back to listening to Jack Cotton Singing it in Calumet City back in the early 70's. ( beautiful John Hughey rhythm track ) Entitled The Bitter They Are. Russ Weaver you'll remember this.
I hope you like it.

Link deleted, I wasn't aware there was a thread with this song already. So I removed the link to my version.

OK, here is a replacement song for the one I deleted.
This song is a wonderful song Lloyd Green recorded years ago, but this is a Jim Loessberg rhythm track. I love the arrangement on this one as well.

Sounds good again Fred...the playing and the guitar. Used to play this one quite some time ago. Got the tab from Buddy when at Jeffran...sadly I lost it along the line somewhere

Hey Fred, at least I got to hear it before you removed it and I must say
you sure did a great job on playing it, and your steel sounds beautiful. :)

Carl thank you so much and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I wasn't aware that Bill had already put this song up or I would have never put mine up.

Replacement Song

Post by Fred Justice »

Bill I know its not a competition thing, I think on my behalf it was more of a respect thing.
Dale I understand your point of view as well.
But I've decided just to replace it with another beautiful song called "Midnight Silence"
I hope you all enjoy it.

Steel guitar Talent By One Of The Best

Post by Bernie Gonyea »

Fred; You did a fabulous job on both these numbers; I heard you last year at The Dallas Show in March. Your portion of the show was fantastic; always love your Style and phasing so much; You're one of these pickers whom I could listen to all night long. And I admired your steels which were on display. Hope to get back there this coming March. Thanks for sharing your ability with we Forum Members. Cheers..Bernie

Fred, Midnight Silence has always been one of my favorite songs, and you did an outstanding job on it. And of course your Justice sounded perfect. We've missed seeing you this year. We're planning on Texas next March. Keep up the good picking. Larry
