I am going to be installing a BL710. Which wires go where to a jack?

If the wires on the pickup are white and black, white is hot, black is ground.

Since Bill Lawrence often includes red and green wires (I'm not sure about the 710. If you don't have them, ignore this next bit), here's what you do with them:
For dedicated humbucker, tie red and green together, tape them and tuck them out of the way.
If you want to engage single coil mode at will, tie red and green together, send to one pole of a SPST switch. To the other pole, attach a wire going to ground. When the switch is open, you have humbucker: when closed, one coil gets shorted to ground, and the other gives the output.
