WTB: Fender 400

Post by Chris Rice »

What's out there these days?

I've got trade bait in guitar form, lap steel form, amps, effects pedals, double basses, analog synths, drums, etc, or I can find some cash.

Yes, this will be my first pedal steel. Yes, I've read all of the arguments for/against the 400. Yes, I have spent some time on "real" steels (primarily an '84 Marlen Custom D-10 8X4).

:)

Looks like a reasonable price too - especially including a Sho-Bud volum pedal.

I agree - good price. Don't think you will find a better price. Looks like a later 60s short scale with the cam style changer. I'd buy it if I were in the market for a 400.

Have 400...

Chris- I've one like that ebay one. No Sho-Bud pedal with it, but maybe a Fender tone/volume pedal, if you're interestd. I haven't looked in back closet for awhile, so let me dig in there & see/take pics and I'll try to get back to you in a couple days or so. Regards, John

Chris
There is a Fender 400 at the Guitar Center in Wichita Ks for $500....it doesnt have a case and the pedals looked odd, not even if you know what I mean. Cosmetically, it didnt look that bad at all. Anyway, just giving you a heads up if you are still looking.
