Horseshoe Rewind? Lollar site says not taking any r/w biz
Any recommendations for a Horseshoe pickup rewind in the lower 48? it's out of an old Silver Hawaiian that looks like it got run over by a Willys
I read that Jason Lollar is the go-to guy but his website says he isn't taking any rewind biz 'cause his manufacturing gig has taken off.

Seymour Duncan or Bill Asher might also do this type of work.

He rewound both my 8-string Ric horseshoe pickups when he worked for Lindy Fralin, and rewound both Fender Deluxe pickups when he was at Mojotone. He did an excellent job.

He calls a model NS a "frypan", but I wouldn't necessarily hold that against him. He does all kinds of pickup repairs. Just another possibility.

get a hold of Lindy Fralin. he has a website you can find with a google search. he rewound the pup on a 1939 lap steel. it sounds great. he is unfazed by any order it seems. he communicates well. he actually phoned me to clarify what he was going to do after I mailed him the pup.
excellent work at a fair price.

Pickup rewind.
Red Rhodes used to my "go to" guy...but alas he is a bit hard to contact these days....long distance call and all. I mean that with all respect. Still miss him!
JM Rolph does an equally stellar job. He did my Gibson Console Grande pickup. Sounds stellar and you cannot discern it was ever touched.
