Jim played on "Set 'Em Up Joe", and had played steel behind Johnny Paycheck for a few years. In 2001, I saw him playing steel onstage with female country singer Chalee Tennison. She was opening for Travis Tritt at a balloon festival

Yes, Jim played Set'em Up Joe on his set. I wasn't there, but heard it on SteelRadio.

Congratulations Jim! It's been a long time since I brought two Nashville 400's to you at Soundcheck in Nashville. Always like your playing............especially on the Vern Gosdin recordings.
