The Siler-Sweeney Show...

Post by Kevin Raymer »

I very much enjoyed everyone I heard, but...

The Mike Siler - Mike Sweeney pairing on Thursday night was just GREAT !!

It made my trip.

For Mike Sweeney to pull that off with basically no notice and sound that smooth and tight it's just mind blowing.

And a big shout out to the house band as well with special kudos to Dino Strunk.
If anybody can play lead behind and beside Mike Sweeney on steel it would be Mr Strunk.
You Da'Man.

AMEN!!! That set turned us into huge Mike Sweeney fans.

The Russ Wever set Friday morning was also very, very cool.
We loved the way he turned the band loose. What a way to open the show.

I'm sure sorry that I'm missing the I.S.G.C. this year. The two Mikes are some of the best.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! I always enjoy working with Mike Siler. It was a fun set and a great way to start the weekend. Already looking forward to next year!
