Lane thanks again for answering. That post was before you answered me in a different post. And you are right with those settings you can't hardly go wrong.

Hi, I tried Tim Marcus's suggestion - using a 12DW7 in V4 on my 65 twin custom 15 amp. It really makes for a nice warm reverb. It takes the "surf guitar" splash away so you can turn up the reverb a bit and get a nice rich sound. Thanks Tim.

I have a 69 fender twin with a single 15" speaker and, like you, I have never been able to use the onboard spring reverb. Anything past two or three and its just not to my liking. Plus, having to put up the the reverb crashing due to floor or bumping amp. I love the sound of the amp and I use an RV3 with it.
